Permitting - Reduced Risk
The concept behind the Stillwater Business Park development is to reduce risk by having the permitting already in place.
All of the environmental permitting is in place as a result of a master environmental document that has been developed, approved and certified by the Redding City Council. All federal and state agency permits have been received.
Any proposed project that falls within the pre-approved environmental thresholds of Stillwater will be able to proceed through the development process as outlined in the Planned Development Plan. Once a project is determined to be within the pre-approved thresholds and within the Planned Development Plan guidelines, no other discretionary permits are required.
Once a site-development plan is submitted and approved, administratively the next step becomes the building permit process. Once a building permit is obtained, construction can begin.
